This is a printer's tray from 7 gypsies that I decorated for fall to hang in my front hallway.

bridal mixed media

Made this for a friend of mine who is getting married soon! She was the flower girl at my wedding 19 years ago! Makes me feel old! The dress is mounted on a paper mache form I got at Michael's. The beading on it is all beaded ribbon that I glued on.

The heart with wings is a gift for a lady I work with who is retiring. The flowers are for a mother's day gift and the artist wall hanging is for my art room!

Spring mixed media

I'm taking an online class right now called "Art of Spring" that is taught by two of my favorite mixed media artists: Christy Tomlinson and Junelle Jacobsen. These are two pieces I made using techniques I learned from them! Trying to get in the spring mood but it's hard with half a foot of snow on the ground still!

Misc. Me journal

Bo Bunny has just released a new binder and pages that I am using as a personal journal. I like to collect quotes and so I am using this binder to hold my quotes and put them in there "smash style." The binder is the Vintage one (they have three different patterns to choose) and the inner pages are called "c'est la vie."

My art journal

I must confess...............I've been hit by the art journaling bug! fun, fun! I use my art journal to practice new techniques. The journal I use is the "mixed media album" from Prima! Here is what I have done so far.

This is a metal banner I found at Hobby Lobby for 1.40 on clearance!  I gessoed over it then did my mixed media techniques on it.  I'm going to hang it on my bedroom wall (when that room is finally painted)!
