Valentine

This is a valentine I made for my husband on a ceramic tile. I used all kinds of mixed media techniques with it. The little heart is chipboard underneath! I used plaster strips over it, let it dry and then painted it.

Banners

Banners are all the rage now! This is my first one and I have to admit I am officially addicted :) This is a valentine one I made that says "Be Mine." I used this gorgeous new paper from Making Memories called J'tadore.

Tags

These are some tags I made when I started learning mixed media techniques. The tags are wooden and you put them on a rod iron tree. I still have more tags to make before I can fill the tree but thought I would post the tags I 've made so far. I was really happy with how these came out!

Initials

I love making these initials for friends and family as gifts! They are chipboard and the first thing I do is prime them with white gesso. Then I take scrapbook paper and adhere pieces of it using gel medium. After that dries I use acrylic paint to make all the different textures and patterns and then after that dries, add embellishments!

Christmas banner

Xmas cone

This was a plain cardboard cone and I adhered scrapbook paper and then embellished it and filled it with Christmas flowers. These look so pretty hanging on a doorknob!

These were plain cardboard cones and I decoupaged paper on to them and added all the embellishments!
